In fünf Proben (Fig. 1), die im Juni 1969 in der südlichen Ostsee oder in der Nähe der Mündungen der Parsęta, Wieprza und Slupia Flüsse gesammelt worden waren, wurde Chaetogammarus stoerensis gefunden. Diese Art ist neu für die baltische Fauna. Alle gesammelten Weibchen befanden sich im Fortpflanzungszustand. Dieser Sachverhalt beweist, daß C. stoerensis sich in der Ostsee fest etabliert hat. Das Vorkommen von Corophium multisetosum im Martwa Wisla Gebiet, wird diskutiert und die ungefähre Verbreitung der lokalen Corophium Arten dargestellt (Fig. 2). Ein weiteres Vorkommen von C. multisetosum in der Ostsee wurde im Kanal festgestellt, welcher den See Resko mit der Ostsee verbindet.
