Die Larvalentwicklung von Macrobrachium novaehollandiae, einer estuarinen Art aus dem Brisbane Fluß (Australien), wird beschrieben. Zehn Larvalstadien werden unterschieden. Die Minimalzeitspanne bis zur Metamorphosis beträgt 41 Tage. Es wurden Vergleiche angestellt mit Larven anderer Arten aus Australien.
