Un grand nombre de Copépodes endoparasites de coraux ont été trouvés sur l'île de Ste Croix, U.S.V.I. en décembre 1975. Ils ont été identifiés comme appartenant à 6 espèces au moins de la famille des Corallovexiidae Stock, 1975. Sur 17 espèces de coraux examinés, 7 se sont avérées infestées par une ou plusieurs espèces de cette famille. Des comparaisons avec les résultats de Stock (1975) à propos d'une étude similaire à Curaçao ont montré un certain nombre de différences. Il semble qu'il existe une tendance, chez Diplora clivosa, à l'établissement de distributions spatiales uniformes à l'intérieur des colonies.
