Des huit espèces du genre Allodiaptomus Kiefer, seules A. raoi Kiefer et A. mirabilipes Kiefer sont reconnues comme valides. Des caractères saillants et additionnels de ces deux espèces sont décrits et figurés. Une nouvelle espèce est établie sous le nom d'A. intermedius. Neodiaptomus satanas est transferré au genre Allodiaptomus. La diagnose générique d'Allodiaptomus est révisée et le genre divisé en deux sous-genres, à savoir Allodiaptomus s. str. et Reductodiaptomus n. subgen. Des clefs sont fournies pour les deux sexes des espèces valides.
