The authors compared the genus Mica with Agabiforrrcius, Leptotrichus and Lucasius. They studied the type-material of Lucasius pallidus and Mica tardus, kept in some European museums. They redescribed and illustrated Mica tardus, also using specimens of their own collection; this species has often been mistaken for Lucasius pallidus. They also gave the geographic distribution of Mica tardus.
