Isocladus bahamondei n. sp. is the second known South American species of the genus. The principal feature to distinguish it from its congeners is the presence of two small teeth on each side of the pereionite 7 spine. A checklist of the species, a diagnosis, and comments about the affinities of the genus are presented.
