image of Method & Theory in the Study of Religion

This paper documents the lack of interest in creating an environment to promote a naturalistic study of religious thought and behavior at the Department for the Study of Religion ( dsr) of the University of Toronto. The dsr, it seems to me, simply exemplifies the point about the self-deception and delusion that characterizes many departments for the study of religion about their academic or scientific credibility that I make in the essay.
