[In this article the original 1561 French edition of the Dutch confession of faith, written by Guy de Brès, is shown to have been printed by Abel Clémence at Rouen. There are two known copies of this edition: one in the Koninklijke Bibliotheck at The Hague, and one in the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek at Munich. The second edition, published in the same year, has hitherto been represented solely by the copy in the Universiteitsbibliotheek, Utrecht, but the author of the article has now discovered a second copy, again in the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek at Munich. He also found in the same library a copy of an unknown edition of 1562 (second copy in Aix-en-Provence). A copy of another edition, bearing the same date but emanating from a different press, can be found in the Bibliothèque Nationale at Paris., In this article the original 1561 French edition of the Dutch confession of faith, written by Guy de Brès, is shown to have been printed by Abel Clémence at Rouen.
