In accordance with the original mandate, the Second Meeting of the Economic Forum, like the first, gave political stimulus to the dialogue on the economic transition, suggested practical efforts for the development of free market systems and economic cooperation and encouraged activities within relevant international organizations, bearing in mind the ideas and goals formulated in the Final Act, in the Document of the Bonn Conference and at other CSCE meetings regarding economic cooperation in Europe as well as the principles approved in these documents.
