Extensive review of a publication including 22 engravings of jurists from the Low Countries, taken from J.F. Foppens,Bibliotheca Belgica, Bruxellis 1739. The editors, T. Dankers and P. Delsaerdt, add short comments on their lives and works, with references to biographical sources. In the present review special attention is given to Matthaeus Wesenbecius and Franciscus Modius.
