<title> RIASSUNTO </title>Il micrometro filare di Giacomo Lusverg (1636-1689), datato 1677, è stato ritrovato nel 1991 presso il Seminario di Treviso. Si danno alcuni cenni biografici inediti su Giacomo Lusverg, frutto di una ricerca originale dell'autore. Si descrive la struttura e il funzionamento del micrometro, il procedimento seguito nel restauro, curato da Antonio Grilli (v. scheda), presso il Museo di Fisica di Bologna. Si descrive anche il cannocchiale su cui è montato il micrometro, con lente obiettiva firmata «Domenico Selva in Venezia». Si accenna alla sua recente utilizzazione, per la ripetizione di misure storiche del diametro solare, fatta da M. Toulmonde, all'Osservatorio di Parigi.
