<title> RIASSUNTO </title>Un recente progetto per localizzare fonti per la storia della scienza ad Oxford ha portato alla luce una grande quantità di manoscritti, testi a stampa, fotografie, e altro materiale poco conosciuto. Ciò ha contribuito a rafforzare l'idea che ci fosse un forte interesse per la scienza nell'ambito dell'Università fra il XIX e gli inizi del XX secolo. Il Clarendon Laboratory, in particolare, possiede una ricca collezione di fonti sulla storia della fisica ad Oxford, mentre il Department of Physiology e il Forestry Institute dispongono di importanti archivi. Anche altri depositi di minore entità sono stati censiti.
