A new species of Diplogaster is described from bacterial slime on the rut surfaces of vines. Diagnosis : Body small, cuticle very finely striated. Lips with minute papillae. Stoma consisting of two parts, cheilorhabdion longer than protorhabdion, dorsal tooth strong, well chitinised, hook-like, right subventral tooth weak, acute, indistinct, left subventral plate invisible. Amphids oval, transverse. Both bulbs large. Female gonad single, anterior ; posterior branch of uterus relatively well developed, longer than body diameter; egg very large. Spicules and gubernaculum characteristic; 8 pairs of sexual papillae on the male tail. Tail long, filiform, phasmids distinct. A key to Diplogaster species with unpaired gonads is given.
