Die Inokulation von Pratylenchus penetrans verursachte im zweiten Zuchtjahr eine typische Wachstumshemmung bei Kartoffeln (Fig. 1). Die Nematodenpopulation war nach dem ersten Kartoffelanbau viel kleiner als die Inokulation, was der Empfindlichkeit der Nematoden infolge der Behandlung zugeschrieben wird. Nach dem zweiten Kartoffelanbau betrug die Pratylenchuspopulation mehr als das 17- resp. 21-fache der ursprünglichen Inokulation (siehe Tab. 1).
