Drei neue Arten der Gattung Hemicriconemoides, nämlich H. chitwoodi n.sp., H. minutus n.sp. and H. strictathecatus n.sp. werden beschrieben. H. chltwoodi ähnelt am meisten H. gaddi (Loos, 1949) Chitwood & Birchfield 1957. Weibchen von H. chitwoodi haben einen längeren Mundstachel mit mehr abgerundeten Knöpfen als H, gaddi; Männchen von H. chitwoodi sind grösser und haben eine Seitenlinie mehr. H. minutus ähnelt sehr stark H. brachyurus (Loos, 1949) Chitwood und Birchfield, 1957. Die Weibchen haben einen längeren Mundstachel und weniger Ringe auf der äusseren Haut als H. brachyurus. H. strictathecatus unterscheidet sich von allen beschriebenen Hemicriconemoides-Arten durch den Besitz eines einfachen tischähnlichen Kopfringels.
