L'auteur étudie la structure de la gonade femelle chez 22 espèces du genre Xiphinema. Les espèces se distinguent principalement par la plus ou moins grande différenciation des diverses parties de l'oviducte. Une étude détaillée de l'organe Z est donnée; cet organe est maintenant connu chez 2 espèces (X. ebriense et X. ifacolum). L'atrophie de la 'gonade antérieure est étudiée chez x. indicum, X. longicaudatum et X. ensiculiferum. La présence de femelles syngoniques est notée chez X. attorodorum.
