Trichodorus pakistanensis n. sp. was found in large numbers around mulberry roots in Haripur and Abbottabad (Hazara District). It is characterized by a long body (about 1 mm), long buccal spear (39-48 μ) and by the male having three ventro-median oesophageal papillae of which one is located behind the excretory pore. T. porosus and T. minor were found for the first time in India around pear and potato roots respectively. The latter was also later found around pear and sugar cane roots. T. bucrius Lordello & Zamith, 1958, is considered a synonym of T. porosus Allen, 1957. T. mirzai also occurs around cane roots in South India.
