Criconema mangiferum n. sp. is characterised by a cylindrical body with truncate-conoid anterior and bluntly-rounded posterior ends, 110-115 body annules having a maximum of ten rows of flap-like scales posteriorly ending in delicate setae, and a buccal spear 37 to 39 μ long.
