Hemicriconemoides birchfieldi n. sp. is characterised by an average body length of 0.5 mm, 138-150 body annules, angular 1st annule, excretory pore on 36th-38th annule, 61-67 μ long spear, vulva on 15th-16th annule from the terminus, the absence of dimorphic condition of tail and in having males wanting bursa and tail longer than the spicule.
