Myolaimus indicus n. sp., collected from the roots of the grass Dichanthium caricosum A. Camus from a river bank, differs from M. heterurus Cobb, 1920 in having a shorter body, proportionately longer oesophagus and tail, only six labial papillae, a shorter postvulval uterine branch, and the cuticular sheath produced into a bulb-like structure at the vulva and having a constriction at the level of the excretory pore. Metadorylaimus coomansi n. sp., collected from soil around the roots of groundnut and cotton, differs from M. pachylaimus Jairajpuri & Goodey, 1966 in having a shorter and relatively less massive odontostyle with a wider aperture; in the absence of a typical "mucro", the anterior portion of the intestine being produced into a prominent blind sac extending over the dorsal side of the oesophageal base, and in having a relatively shorter tail. The diagnosis of Metadorylaimus Jairajpuri & Goodey, 1966 is emended.
