A study of tylenchoid nematodes from Korea yielded twenty-five different species, two of which are described as new: Hemicycliopbora koreana n. sp. and Merlinins koreanus n. sp. H. koreana comes close to H. minora Wu, 1966 from which it is distinguished by the longer stylet and the absence of lateral lines; M. koreanus comes close to M. tessellatus (Goodey, 1952) Siddiqi, 1970, but is differentiated by the longer stylet, the number of longitudinal lines and the position of the phasmids. Serial sections were made of both new species.
