Schlüpfversuche mit Zysten von Heterodera schachtii Schmidt in Schlüpfmedien, denen steigende Konzentrationen von Aldicarb zugesetzt worden waren, ergaben einen deutlichen Rückgang der Schlüpfrate mit zunehmender Menge des Wirkstoffs. Auch die Mobilität der geschlüpften Larven war von seiner Konzentration abhängig. Die Untersuchung des nicht geschlüpften Inhalts ergab ebenfalls einen zunehmenden Anteil geschädigter Tiere.
