Diplogaster spirifer Skwarra, 1921 is transferred to the genus Bulterius Goodey, 1929; it stands very close to B. micans Pillai & Taylor, 1968. D. spirifer apud Weingärtner (1953, 1955) and Meyl (1961) is renamed Paroigolaimella paraspirifer. Diplogaster ornata Stefański, 1922 is considered species incertae sedis. The structure of the stoma and the male genital apparatus of Diplenteron potohikus (Yeates, 1969) was found to be identical with those of D. colobocercus Andrássy, 1964; these two species are synonymized. New details are given about the stoma and spicules of Odontopharynx longicaudata de Man, 1912. A second species of Odontopharynx, O. vanbezooijeni, is described from caves near the Orinoco River, Venezuela; it differs from O. longicaudata in possessing an elongate telostom, in stomatal armature, size of labial papillae and spicule structure.
