Curvidorylaimus curvionchus n. gen., n. sp. closely related to Metadorylaimus Jairajpuri & Goodey, 1966 and Vanderlindia Heyns, 1964 is proposed, based on specimens collected from Arunachal Pradesh, India. The new genus differs from Metadorylaimus by its curved odontostyle, and from Vanderlindia in having its oesophagus clearly demarcated into anterior slender and posterior expanded portions and from both in the absence of an intestinal diverticulum and in having an exceedingly long and narrow pre-rectum. These three genera form a closely related group for which the subfamily Vanderlindiinae Siddiqi, 1969 is accepted with Metadorylaiminae Andrássy, 1976 as its synonym.
