Two new species of the order Mononchida Jairajpuri, 1969 from the North-eastern states of India are described and illustrated. Paramylonchulus noreasus n. sp. from Assam differs from Paramylonchulus californicus in having cuticularized pieces at vulva-vagina junction, longer posterior uterine sac and longer tail. Cobbonchus paraindicus n. sp. from Shillong, Meghalaya differs from Cobbonchus indicus in having wider lip region, in the position of amphid aperture and dorsal tooth, in having larger spicules and gubernaculum, larger number of ventromedian supplements and more bulbous tail.
