Two new species of Discocriconemella, collected by the first author in Mexico, are described. D. perseae n. sp. has, like D. discolabia, a round disc without indentations; it differs from that species by tail shape, fewer annules and much longer spear. D. inarata, also with round disc, is much longer, has a shorter spear, fewer annules, more posterior vulva and differently shaped posterior body part. D. perseae is by definition a true Discocriconemella, but it shows several characters reminiscent of Acrozostron. D. morelensis n. sp. is a large species showing, like D. inarata, some Criconemella characters: open vulva with ornamented anterior lip, large body. The first annule carries four distinct submedian lobes; in this respect it resembles D. degrissei, but the latter has a more deeply indented disc both laterally and medially, the vulva is closed and the spermatheca filled with sperm. In neither of the new species were males found.
