Two new Longidorus species from forest plants in Portugal are described: L. lusitanicus sp. n. characterized by a 6.2 mm (4.2-8.1 mm) long body, lip region slightly expanded, laterally rounded and flattened anteriorly and offset from neck contour, amphidial pouches asymmetrically bilobed, a short odontostyle of 85 μm (80-90 μm), a short conoid-convex rather bluntly rounded tail (c' 1) and commonly occurring males; L. nevesi sp. n. with an 8 mm (6-10.1 mm) long body, a conoid anterior end with rounded lip region continuous with neck contour, amphidial pouches asymmetrically bilobed, a long and robust odontostyle of 142 μm (133-152 μm), a long odontophore of 82 μm (76-94 μm) a short bluntly conoid to rounded tail (c' < 1) and commonly occurring males.
