The following three new species of Forcipomyia (Metaforcipomyia) from southern Argentina and Chile are described and illustrated: F. mapuche and F. morenoi from northwestern Patagonia, and F. darwini from Deceit island in the Cape Horn. The previously known, spotted-wing species F. maculosa Ingram & Macfie is placed in the subgenus Metaforcipomyia, and notes on its type are provided.
