The following taxa are described in the paper: Omalodini trib.nov. (type genus Omalodes Er., Neotropical realm); genera Notosaprinus gen.nov. (type species Saprinus irinus Mars., Australia), Coomanister gen.nov. (type species Xestipyge scrobípygum Coom., Viet-nam), Neosantalus gen. nov. (type species Hister latitibius Mars., South-East Asia), and four new species from South-East Asia. The generic name Santalus Lew., I906, is considered a synonym of Pachylister Lew., I904. Data are given about the taxonomy and distribution of some poorly known species.
