Original material of Phacophallus rubricollis (Reitter, 1899) and Phacophallus rubricollis (Casey, 1906) was studied, and both names were found to be junior synonyms of Phacophallus tricolor (Kraatz, 1859).-Lectotypes are designated for Leptacinus trigonocephalus Kraatz, Phacophallus tricolor (Kraatz), P. rubricollis (Reitter), P. rubricollis (Casey), and P. flavipennis (Kraatz).
