image of Insect Systematics & Evolution

A simple technique for rearing simultaneously several individual pupae of simuliids is described. A multicell rearing tray is featured that can easily be used under field conditions and is readily transportable in numbers over long distances, normally without loss of specimens. This rearing technique may also be used for pupae of some other Diptera.
