image of Insect Systematics & Evolution

A phylogenetic analysis is presented of the African genus group Prosmidiites, with a discussion of its position within Luperini and a zoogeographic survey. Zinjotella Silfv. is reduced to a subgenus of Laetiacantha Lab., and Neolaetana Lab. to a subgenus of Prosmidia Wse. Trichacanthina Silfv. is described within Prosmidia for P. maculosa Wse. The female genitalia of Shungwayana trifasciata (All.) are described.
