The genus Nanopria Kieffer is synonymized with Telenomlls Haliday. Lectotypes were designated for Telenomus othus Haliday, T. heteropterus Haliday and T. laricis Walker. New names proposed are: T. abbreviatus and T. nysivorus, T. coccivorus Mayr is retained as a valid species and three new combinations are proposed. New described species are: T. eumicrosomoides and T. incisus. Synonymized species are: T. praetabani Szabó, T. oophagus Nikolskaya, T. stratiomyidarum (Szabó), T. nonnitens Szabó, T. pappi Szabó, T. longiclavatus and T. depressus (Szabó). Szabó's erroneously designated neotypes for T. othus and T. coccivonis are rejected.
