Seven new species of the subfamily Entedontinae are described from the Oriental region: Achrysocharoides nitidus (♀, ♂), Chrysocharis euterpe (♀) and C. zizyphi (♀, ♂) from Pakistan, C. nitida (♀) from India, C. lankensis (♀) from Sri Lanka, Kratoysma longifacies (♀) and K. nepalensis (♀) from Nepal. Hosts are reported for four of the species. Chrysocharis chilo (Walker, 1839) are reported from Nepal, C. pubicornis (Zetterstedt, 1838) from India and Pakistan, and C. nitetis (Walker, 1839) from India. All three gcncra are diagnosed and hostpreferences and the distribution of the genera are accounted for.
