Several new and poorly known Oriental peltoperlid species are described, and keys are provided for Asian genera of Peltoperlinae and for the species of Cryptoperla Needham, 1909. Peltopteryx zwicki gen. et sp. n. is described from Assam; other new taxa include Cryptoperla akha sp. n. (Thailand), C. kali sp. n. (Assam), C. karen sp. n. (Thailand), C. kumari sp. n. (Assam), C. meo sp. n. (Thailand), and C. naga sp. n. (Assam). Peltoperlodes Kawai, 1968 is placed in synonymy with Cryptoperla, and a male Iectotype is designated for C. fraterna (Banks). Available eggs are illustrated with SEM photomicrographs.
