The nearctic members of the genus Entephria are revised to include 11 species. Entephria separata, E. lynda, and E. beringiana are described as new; E. nigrescens (Hulst) is placed as a synonym of E. multivagata (Hulst); E. polata punctipes (Curtis), E. polata bradorata (Munroe) and E. polata kidluitata (Munroe) are elevated to species rank; E. polata ursata (Munroe) is placed as a synonym of E. polata polata (Duponchel); E. polata brullei (Lefebvre) and the palaearctic E. byssata (Aurivillius) are synonymized under E. punctipes (Curtis), and E. polata aleutiata (Munroe) is synonymized under E. bradorata. Lectotypes are designated for Scotosia multivagata Hulst, Cydaria byssata Aurivillius, E. takuata Taylor, and E. lagganata Taylor. A neotype is designated for Oporabia punctipes Curtis. Glaucopteryx inventaraia Grote is removed from the genus Entephria. Photographs of adults, drawings of genitalia, and distribution maps are provided.
