Die Arbeit untersucht vom Verlauf der Texte ausgehend (Henno mit den Zähnen aus den Nugae curialium des Walter Map und die Melusine Thürings von Ringoltingen) in dichter Beschreibung und unter Perspektivierung auf die Konzepte von ‘Begehren’ und ‘Wissen’ das Geschlechterverhältnis in zwei zeitlich auseinanderliegenden Belegen für Feenerzählungen; durch den Einbezug von Paratexten und durch den Blick auf die zwei Autoren wird eine Verknüpfung von Textinnenwelt und der realen Welt ihrer Produzenten und Rezipienten erstrebt.
