ABSTRACT Pachycheliumbarnardi, new species, from Argentina is described and figured, and its relationships with other species of the genus are discussed. The occurrence of other lysianassids on the Argentine continental shelf is noted; the distributional ranges of Tryphosites chevreuxi Stebbing, 1914, and Tmetonyx serratus Schellenberg, 1931, collected from benthos dredgings by the Shinkai Maru, are extended geographically and bathymetrically.
