ABSTRACT The second known genus of Phoxocephalopsidae is described; it differs from Phoxocephalopsisin the loss of mandibular structures. This family exhibits characters plesiomorphic to the more diverse North American Haustoriidae and the more diverse Australian Urohaustoriidae.
