ABSTRACT Tanaids collected at four stations by the United States Navy's Antarctic Expedition 1947–-1948 comprise three species. Two of them (Nototanais antarcticus, N. dimorphus) are widely distributed in Antarctic waters, and the third one (Mirandotanais vorax) is recorded for the first time since its description in 1974.
