title RIASSUNTO /title

Il disegno della Sphaera caelestis nell'Hortus deliciarum ha un'origine complessa. Da una parte, infatti, si rif ad una tradizione post-carolingia relativa alle absides planetarie dell'Historia naturalis pliniana, dall'altra ad un ordine delle orbite planetarie che trae origine dalla sistemazione proposta da Marciano Capella. Quest'ordine dei pianeti sembra derivare da un diagramma simile a quello che troviamo in un manoscritto di Avranches (XII secolo).
