title RIASSUNTO /title

Tra i supposti inventori del termoscopio vi anche Robert Fludd (1574-1637). improbabile tuttavia che Fludd meriti questo onore perch vi sono descrizioni dello strumento anteriori alla sua. L'uso che ne fece comunque di notevole interesse. Egli lo descrive non solo come strumento per misurare la temperatura relativa (ricorrendo a scale variamente graduate), ma anche e ?CTRLerr type="1" mess="Doute Cars isoles avec recollage" ?ci per lui molto pi importante come guida per i segreti pi profondi del macrocosmo e del microcosmo. Lo riferisce agli arcangeli che controllano i venti, all'azione dello spirito vitale, a fenomeni metereologici, agli umori e alle passioni e a ?CTRLerr type="1" mess="Doute Cars isoles avec recollage" ?particolari malattie. In breve, lo strumento da poco inventato non al servizio di uno scienziato, ma piuttosto nelle mani di uno dei pi grandi rappresentanti dell'ermetismo del secolo XVII, che cerc di usarlo a convalida delle proprie teorie di ispirazione mistica.
